The Bangalore campus serves as the largest R&D center outside the U.S., driving global product development and engineering excellence, while Mumbai and Gurugram focus on business operations, marketing, and talent engagement.
The Challenge
As LinkedIn expanded its presence across multiple Indian cities, the need arose for a unified, high-performance AV experience across diverse workspaces—ranging from compact huddle rooms and agile studios to large cafés and training zones. The goal was to ensure seamless communication, hybrid collaboration, and consistent user experience across all locations.
Our Solution
In partnership with AV consultants from Singapore, Ideas Ahead delivered a robust, scalable, and future-ready AV infrastructure tailored to each site's unique functional needs. The system runs on a robust IP-based backbone leveraging Dante and Video over IP, with antenna distribution ensuring wireless mic reliability. A simulated audio heat map guided speaker placement for uniform sound coverage.
Spaces & Implementation
Café Spaces
Designed for scalability and high-performance AV, supporting 1,000+ attendees during R&D announcements and global events. HDMI and audio wall plates connect to Extron encoders/decoders, IP-based Dante backbone, discreet ceiling-mounted speakers.
Learning Hearth
High-impact training room with 108" LG LED display (1.2mm pixel pitch, 800 nits), DTP transmitters/receivers, dual cameras, wireless networked microphones, network-based DSP routing via Dante to ceiling speakers.
Extra Large Conference Rooms
Large dual displays, PTZ camera with Logitech Sight companion device for multiple participant perspectives, Lightware USB-C switchers for content sharing and 100W laptop charging, Shure MXA920 ceiling arrays.
Meeting Rooms (Various Sizes)
15 Huddle Rooms, 35 Small Rooms, 25 Medium Rooms, and 18 Large/XL Rooms - all with Logitech hardware-based UC systems, Lenovo IP controllers for Teams integration.
